Whyte E-160 RS in the V2 version is basically a V1 facelift (2020). Suspension on the E-160RS is still Fox Float 38 Performance fork with great stiffness and Fox Float DPS shock with lockout function (150mm). The Sram X0 Eagle drive and Code R brakes are a set that guarantees the highest quality. Only the number of teeth in the crank changes (from 34 to 36). We developed stronger wheels using the new WTB HZT 30 rims, dedicated to e-bikes, which have thicker walls and use a sleeve connection. The model is available in the entire size range, i.e. from XS to XL. To increase comfort, the saddle and grips have been changed. The model is already equipped with Shape.it link* as standard. The position in which it is mounted raises the bottom bracket 4mm higher from the ground (compared to a bike without Shape.it link). In order to lower the bottom bracket by 4 mm, i.e. to obtain a more progressive geometry, just unscrew the shape.it link, turn it 180 degrees and reinstall it (video instructions below). You can also buy a second version, "shape.it link Up", which raises the bottom bracket 4 or 12 mm above the ground (compared to a bike without Shape.it link).

The high-torque Bosch Gen 4 motor is super-compact with an ultra-smooth power delivery that simulates normal pedalling, and range concerns shouldn't be an issue as we fit a massive 625Wh battery as standard. For MY21, the engine torque has been increased to 85Nm and the e-MTB mode has many improved features.

*Shape It Link is a specially designed Shock Extender to fit all Whyte full suspension bikes equipped with a standard Shock Extender. Thanks to this solution, you can individually adjust the bike to your riding style and the terrain in which you want to move. Then you change the height of the bottom bracket from the ground and the angle of the head tube (table in the attachments). However, this has no effect on the lever ratio or suspension kinematics.
